Built for English speakers who already have a foundation in Greek.
Greek and English are very different languagesΒ - and at B1, that matters more than ever. That's why most of the explanation in this course is in English. When I'm teaching you the difference between the perfective and imperfective subjunctive, you need to understand theΒ conceptΒ the first time, not decode it. English carries the concept; Greek carries the practice. The transition feels natural because it's built that way.
Where you need to be to start:Β a basic understanding of Greek - the alphabet, present and simple past tenses, everyday vocabulary. If you've completed the A2 MasterCourse (or the Beginner Bundle), you're exactly where this course begins: the 12 chapters follow the same topic order, so the map already looks familiar.
Where you'll be when you finish:Β intermediate Greek - CEFR B1, the same level the official Certificate of Attainment in Greek (Ξ ΞΉΟΟΞΏΟΞΏΞ―Ξ·ΟΞ· ΞλληνομάθΡιαΟ) tests.
